HLTA PREPARATION FOR ASSESSMENT: Spring 2012
I am delighted to be able to advise you that HLTACSW will be offering HLTA Preparation for Assessment courses in the Autumn term.
It is very important that you and your candidates read the information in the application form carefully before submitting (paying particular attention to the notes relating to maths and English qualifications). Candidates will be required to complete their preparation and assessment within a very tight timescale (6 – 8 weeks) so it would be extremely helpful if they could be as prepared as possible before commencing the course – for further information please see the application form. Completed applications should be sent to Jane Nichols at the address above by 9th December but earlier if possible.

Common Induction Training for people working or volunteering with children and young people in Poole
Below are links to further details for the Poole Common Induction Training Programme which is being held over 4.5 days or 11 evenings between March and July at the Orangery, Merley.
There is also a line manager's briefing day on Tuesday 23rd February from 9.30-16.30 at The Orangery, Merley.
It would enhance the multiagency nature of the induction if we could get staff from Poole schools attending these programmes. This programme will complement the pan-dorset LM training which is being held this term.
